Writing is subject to interpretation. What moves one is worthless to another. I can accept that my writing has nothing on pieces by Virginia Woolf or John Keats. I can appreciate their depth and I recognise our differences. Truth is, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Nothing can change what my writing means to me. I am not above learning and I am always striving for better. The very essence of Endured is only made whole by the things I have learned.

I welcome your comments. Send me your thoughts, your criticisms even. For how can I ask you to consider mine if I’m not even interested in knowing yours?

Marcella, it’s been a pleasure to revisit your website for the first time in a while. What can I say that’s different to before? Not a lot.

Your poetry still moves me, and drives me to feel things I do not often feel moved about with other things I see, hear or read. Your words always touch me in a powerful way, so I am glad that I have known your work, and continue to revisit it.

Your work is unique and personal, and I will always treasure it for those reasons above any others.

Take good care of yourself, and keep writing.
