The Word in Context

For God to be immoral or unjust, only the first sentence of the first chapter of the Word of God, Genesis 1:1, needs to be untrue. But if it is true, every word and every commandment that follows is just and justified. I know that many will disagree with that statement, but think about it. Is the sun evil for drying up a body of water? Is the earth wrong to quake from time to time? Hierarchically, the sun and earth are both above humans and we can object all we want, but it won’t matter in the least. If an even higher power created them, do you suppose the sun could refuse to rise or that the earth could refuse to rotate or that either one of them could claim to know a better way?
